Lauren’s Training Log: September 6th – September 12th
Previous Training Logs Monday & Tuesday consisted of more packing and fixing things around the house. Wednesday, September 8th – Run: 1 Miles – Back to morning runs today! Felt so good to be back at it. I did keep it extra slow and a walk/run to ease my body back in. Thursday, September 9th – Walk: 3 Miles and an hour of chasing the kiddos at the park. This was good for all of us, and I need to make a consistent thing even through the moving! Lauren’s Training Log: August 30th – September 5th, 2021 & Blood Sugar Update
Previous Blood Sugar Updates Previous Training Logs It’s been a long time since my last blood sugar update. I’ve been tracking here and there. Mostly checking fasting numbers. My numbers are definitely trending down. As my running increases the numbers seem to correlate down. When my running decreases the numbers seem to slowly start to rise again. I do need to get back to a stricter diet to really reverse and lower my A1c and fasting numbers. This needs to happen before I jump into the prediabetic range. Or even worse into full type 2 diabetes. After a weekend with a sugar overload, I think my body is screaming at…

Lauren’s Training Log: August 23rd – August 29th, 2021
All Past Training Logs Here! Back on track. I felt great this week! The first part of the week was definitely stronger than the second, but that is what I expected. Three days this week I did morning workouts. The 4:30am wake up call was early but oh so worth it. I will continue that into next week. I did let some life stress keep me up at night a few nights, so come Friday I needed the little bit of extra sleep to function! Saturday was a day or road tripping and I knew I was going to be driving late at night, so I needed to give myself…

Lauren’s Training Log: August 16th – August 22nd, 2021
All Training Logs Training Log Update for August 16th – August 22nd. I am disappointed in myself for this week. I let life stressors and lack of motivation win. It rained nonstop all week so we couldn’t get out for our normal walking in the morning. Morning walks are what usually jump start my day. Then I run and lift either during naptime or at night. Without the morning walks, and no time outside, the laziness won. However I am going to cut myself some slack and with the life stressors that presented themselves this week my body needed a few days to just process without added stressors or exercise.…

Lauren’s Training Log: August 9th – August 15th, 2021
Last Week Training Log All Training Logs After a week back on track I thought I would fly into this week extra ready and hit the ground running. That didn’t happen. However I think for good reason. The husband was away for the week and my mom came to visit and help with the kids. We took a spontaneous five hour car trip to visit family. It was perfect to just live in the moment and know that my training has been strong and consistent and this one week wouldn’t make or break me. We stayed active with yard work, walks and running around the yard with the kids. Overall…

Lauren’s Training Log: August 2nd – August 8th, 2021
Another Week means Another Training Log Update! Last Weeks Training Log All Previous Training Logs Back on track! This weeks has been overall great! My runs were faster and I was able to get in move movement overall. I got out for a walk everyday except my Saturday long run! I still need to figure out a better plan with strength training and running. However currently running is my priority. Getting back into the best shape of my life running wise is my goal! I do know that strength training is needed for that to happen though, so I need to figure out a better mix. My problem is I’m…

Lauren’s Training Log: July 26th – August 1st, 2021
Training Log Weekly Update & Blood Sugar Update. Last Weeks Training Journal All Past Training Journals Another rough week. This time I think I know why. Diet. Nutrition. I have struggled with that part of my training for a while. This week has been extra bad. My blood sugar levels were back higher than normal and I had too much sugar and carbs. Getting my blood sugars levels back on track needs to be my number one goal again. Need to start using discipline and stick to a low sugar/lower carb diet to hopefully lower my blood sugar levels, and my sugar cravings (they are out of control!). Anxiety also…
