Starting AGAIN. Ready for Routine!

Welp. We are back starting AGAIN. The boys and I are all ready and craving a routine! So here we are back at it AGAIN. We are finally getting into a better routine. One child is in pre-school for a couple hours a day and the other is hopefully starting a pre school program in October (we figure out the details tomorrow!)

We started a basic simple routine last week. Well Monday-Thursday. The kids and I were thriving. We let that go Friday through the weekend and man you could really tell the difference. Goal this week is to keep a routine at least Monday-Friday mornings. Including my workouts and the kids schedules. It really does make a big difference.

Workout. Check!

This morning I started my day around 4:45am. I biked for 30mins and then did some pelvic floor core work. Going to test out a mild speed workout tomorrow.

Water, Coffee, Protein, Vitamins!
Solid Start to the Day!

A shower and a little coffee before one of the kids woke up. I’ll take it!

Along with making a routine for the kids. I am setting one for myself. With the goal of being in the best place mentally and physically going into the holiday season. My current training plan starts today and gets me to a 5k on Thanksgiving. I’m scared to say I have big goals, because I keep failing at those. I have “started over” more times than I would like to admit. However, I am giving myself some grace because I do know that I am in that phase of life with a 4 and an almost 3 year old! I have stayed consistent so that’s a major positive. But, I love to follow a plan and keep myself accountable. We are finally going into the next stage of life that has some routine built in with school schedules, and I have a race in the kinda but not distant future. Perfect time to create a plan for more routine!

Pre-School Ready!

If you are a mom. Give yourself grace. If starting fresh is something that gives you motivation. Keep starting fresh each day or each week, as many times as you need too! I wish someone had told me that. Don’t be embarrassed and don’t let anyone make you feel bad! Routine is sometimes something that is joked about our mocked. However, it is how we are thriving over here the last week and we are going to keep it going!

Walking with my Buddy!
I will miss this the most!

After pre-school drop off, we went for a couple mile walk to get some fresh air and then off to a play place for an hour before pre-school pick up! Solid morning routine for me and the younger kiddo!

After pick-up we had some lunch and then headed to the playground.

The relaxed at home for the rest of the night!
