Lauren’s Training Log – July 11th – July 17th, 2022

Monday, July 11th: 2 mile morning run! Loveeee a good morning run. I was going to try and lift too, but the kiddos had other plans. Pushed the lift to Tuesday instead. 

Tuesday, July 12th: Made up the leg lift I missed on Monday morning. It felt strong! I modified it a little bit to meet me where I am now, so I’m able to continue with the training plan without being way to sore. I followed up the lift with a one mile run. It felt hard, but not impossible. It was a hot and sweaty one! I really enjoyed this after bedtime workout! I also did some pelvic floor ab work, my core is definitely getting stronger and it’s showing in my running and lifting. 

Wednesday, July 13th: 2.5 Mile morning run. I couldn’t believe how hot it already was at 4:30am. Another sweaty run! Which I love. Might need to set up a fan in front of the treadmill, the air is extra thick in the garage. 

Thursday, July 14th: Off Day – I think next week I am going to try and still get up and at least walk on an off day. I have noticed that after a weekday off it is harder to get going the rest of the week.

Friday, July 15th: Walked around Disney for the day! No Run or Lift but well over 10k steps in the Florida heat!

Saturday, July 16th: Tried to do an afternoon run and made it a half mile and decided to call it a day, it was extra hot and muggy. 

Sunday, July 17th: Morning Run! After the disaster of yesterday it was important to me to make a change that will create more results and habits.

My daily 4:15am alarm is not set! I have higher hopes for next week!
