Lauren’s Weekly Check-In – Week of July 18th – July 24th, 2022

Review:

  • For Week of
    • July 18th – July 24th, 2022
  • Please briefly explain your last week: 
    • Training Log Post HERE. This week was better than last week. Morning workouts are the reason. I am enjoying getting up and getting a workout in and some time alone before the kids wake up.
  • Please list at least 3 things you were grateful for/ or positives from the week.
    • 1. Morning Workouts! Game Changer
    • 2. Weather! I will never again take for granted seeing the sun so often and to be outside more.
    • 3. The kids are getting on a better schedule! Also game changing!
  • Did you encounter any challenges? How did you deal with them?
    • Weekends! I haven’t dealt with them yet, making a promise to myself to do better next week.
  • Please briefly describe what did you do for your self-care last week
    • Took a few baths, woke up early to workout and then have some time to read and enjoy a little quiet before anyone wakes up.

Nutrition

  • Please rate your nutrition and food tracking for last week (1-5) 
    • 3. Did pretty decent during the week, the weekend was a disaster.  
  • Are you ready to add Macro Counting? (Y/N)
    • No. I will probably add in Macro Counting after I have a solid workout routine. 

Training

  • Please rate your training (1-5)
    • 4
  • Did you stick to your training plan? (Y/N)
    • Yes! Added a little more throughout the week, which was a nice surprise. Didn’t follow the weekend workouts.
  • Are you facing any difficulties with your training?
    • I am struggling with getting motivated and out the door on the weekend. I need to switch to morning workouts on the weekends too!

Goal Progression: 

  • How do you feel you are progressing towards your current goals?
    • Slowly getting there. I think I need to add in some more cross training to keep moving forward with my goals without getting injured. Going to try and add in a few cycling rides this week.

Lifestyle

  • Please rate your sleep quality for the last week (1-5)
    • 2. Didn’t sleep well this week. Getting used to the early alarm and having kids wake up a few times before they fall asleep for the night. Hopefully next week is better!
  • Please rate your digestion (1-5)
    • 2. Again, I need to work on my fiber intake! I also need to lower the sugar intake. When I have candy it messes with my stomach for a while.
  • Please rate your stress level (1-5)
    • 3. Stress is going down. Working on this site and editing some movies is helping shut the mind off a little. Consistent workouts is also really helping
  • Please rate your energy throughout the day (1-5)
    • 4. My energy levels go down when my diet is bad. When I get in a good workout in the morning and then eat a balanced diet throughout the day, my energy levels are amazing!
  • Do you want to give additional details regarding your lifestyle.
    • I have been getting the kids out of the house at least once a day and it has been game changing. I need to add back in daily walks and more parks, but we are making progress.
  • Is there anything additional information you want to provide, or changes you want to make? 
    • I am going to keep with morning workouts when possible, add in some afternoon cycling sessions and dial in my nutrition a little more.
