Week 6 Recap and Last Few Days

Week 6 Recap and a recap over the last few days. Things have been all over the place. I have not done a good job managing my time or stress level! 

This week consisted of restarting our housing search, putting in an offer on a house and going through all the negotiations. We have an accepted offer and are now going through the process. We have done this twice before, but it’s always a lot. 

I also haven’t been sleeping great. We have been a little off our normal schedule with visitors in town, and I have chosen sleep in the morning over running. Sleep is definitely important, and helping me from not getting another sickness, it has however, made for a few more extra days off because of mismanaged time in the afternoons. 

With all that said. I was able to get in some decent work this week. I was short on my mileage goal, but I hit my strength training goal. Which I think was most important this week. With the increasing of mileage I can feel my body needing more strength. 

I started a 3-day split workout on the peloton app. I’m going to follow the same workouts for the next 3-4 weeks with a progressive overload. I’m excited to see my strength improve over the next few weeks.

Monday: Easy 4 Miles

Tuesday: Easy 3.5 Miles and Peloton Lift

Wednesday: Off

Thursday: Off

Friday: Easy 3 Miles & Peloton Lift

Saturday: Easy 4 Miles

Sunday: 20min Bike (4.5 Miles) & Peloton Lift

Adding in some speed at least once next week. I can’t wait!
