Treadmill Hill Workout

A treadmill hill workout is a great way to mix hills into your training plan in a controlled environment. Hills are important for both strength as a runner, but also for building a stronger body. With hills you get the best of both worlds a partial strength workout and a cardio running workout. 

It is also important to practice hills, if your upcoming race has hills. I live in a very flat area, so run hills I would either need to drive to a manmade hill on roads, or use the treadmill. Most of the time I prefer the treadmill because I can create a consistent environment.
