We are Back!

Hello, friends! It’s been far too long since I’ve posted here, and oh, how life has kept me on my toes! Between one kid starting school for the first time and chasing a busy toddler at home, things got hectic fast.

Now, just in time for the holiday season (and the inevitable chaos that comes with it), we’ve finally found our groove—only to watch it go out the window again. Such is life, right?

But I’ve missed this space. I’ve missed sharing workouts, tips, and resources with all of you. So, here I am, back at it and ready to dive in!

Over the past few months, I’ve been deeply committed to my own fitness routine, and it’s been a game-changer. My focus has been on strength training, and I found a bootcamp-style class that includes childcare. Initially, I started going to help my youngest work through some separation anxiety. But after nearly 50 classes, I’m hooked. I feel stronger, more energized, and it’s boosted my running performance a lot!

This experience has been such a great reminder: fitness needs to fit your life, and what works can change depending on the season you’re in.

Right now, this class works for me because of the toddler stage of life. Days were slipping by without time for strength training, and when I did have a free moment, I was too exhausted to follow through. The structured schedule of this class—and the extra motivation of not wanting to waste reserved childcare—helps me stay accountable. Sometimes, a little self-imposed guilt can work wonders!

As I jump back into blogging, you can expect the same quick, efficient workouts you love—minimal equipment, home-friendly, and perfect for busy lives. I’ll also be adding more running workouts to the mix to keep things fresh.

Thanks for sticking with me, and I can’t wait to share more soon. Let’s keep moving forward, no matter what season we’re in!
