Lauren’s Training Log: October 11th – October 17th, 2021
Monday, October 11th: Run: 5.9 Miles with Double Jogging Stroller. I felt really strong!
Tuesday, October 12th: Smashed my little toe into the couch. Ugh! It’s either badly jammed or broken.
Wednesday, October 13th: Off, toe and foot are pretty bruised and still hurts to walk.
Thursday, October 14th: Walk: 4 Miles
Friday, October 15th: Off
Saturday, October 16th: Off
Sunday, October 17th: Off. Toe is feeling a lot better, going to test out some run/walk on Monday!
This week started out strong again. I also had high hopes, until I stepped on one of the kids toys and my little toe took a beating when it collided with the couch. OUCH! A nice black and blue foot that is in a ton of pain is what I have ended up with. I am gave it the week to recover. I am going to test out running tomorrow and try and add in extra biking to keep my fitness level up.
Race is coming quick and I am super disappointed that this injury happened now, but I am going to try and cross train to be ready to run!
