Lauren’s Journal – Journey to Health & Happiness W1D6
Did a nice 2 mile run outside, along with a lift. My first mile felt strong and I had a nice breeze, the second mile was rough, no wind and it was very hot. I followed up the run with an upper body pull workout and some pelvic floor abs. Ended the week with three main lifts. Not what I hoped for, but looking back I’m proud of that. Tomorrow is a push to finish packing before the actual moving next week. I will hopefully get in a quick morning fun, and leave the lifting to moving boxes!
Can’t believe we are almost a week in! I know I was like a broken record last time I did this, but it’s been amazing. I’m so glad I started it’s been so good mentally to get a least a short run in during this stressful time. I do wish I was more consistent with weight training and core work, but I think that will need to wait one more week with the move happening next week. I am going to give it an extra effort to at least add some pelvic floor exercises three times a week.
