Lauren’s Journal- Day 5&6
I took yesterday as a rest day! I think I am liking the Friday rest day! It’s nice to sleep in and then relax with the family at night! I did get up early and finish my UESCA Running Coach Certification. I passed! I am excited that my sister and I can really start to move forward with coaching and ebooks now. I am also excited to take what I learned and write my own training plan!
Today I did some lower body, in the form of two EMOMs. It was a tough workout but the burn felt so good. I then followed it up with a 15min Peloton low impact ride. It was a nice little Saturday afternoon workout!
We spent a little bit of time finalize and rearranging our home gym and I love it. Working out is definitely my alone time where I recharge and can’t lie, it’s even better now that the gym space is extra nice!
We were able to get outside for a little today too. It’s freezing so we can’t keep the baby out for too long; but, it was sunny so we had to take advantage of it. Fresh air really is great for the kids… I’m counting down the days until spring!
Tomorrow I’m going to start prepping some food, and get everything ready to officially start the 1st Phorm challenge off right!
