Lauren’s Journal – Day 4
Morning Workout. Check!
I should have checked the app before I set my alarm, so that was a little bit of a fail. The workout today was active recovery, but it was still nice to get movement in before everyone woke up for the day. I decided to do a Peloton Spin Class. A Country Ride. It was everything I needed this morning. I then followed it up with some simple beginner yoga to get some stretching in.
We added to your 1000 hours outside today! According to the news this morning today was the first day of decent sun since December 18th. That pretty much explains my seasonal depression! BUT we got outside and enjoyed it as much as we could!
I am going to continue with my morning workouts tomorrow. I naturally do better with my diet when I workout in the morning, and I just feel way better throughout the day! This journal does help hold me accountable because I probably would not have gotten up this morning if I didn’t say that I was going to last night! It’s the little things!
