Four Easy Miles
Morning was a rough start. I’m exhausted. I’ve been sleeping so bad the last few nights. Nothing a few cups a coffee couldn’t solve!
We ran some errands, and then relaxed a little it was the perfect Saturday morning.
Around noon we headed over to my parents house for some swimming and hanging out.
When I got home it took everything in me to get out the door for a run. The weather was hot, it was humid, I was full from eating crap all day, I could just add on miles tomorrow, it’s been a rough week, I should just take an off day to recovery. ALL THE EXCUSES!
I finally talked myself into going out for at least a mile. I would run a half mile out and then turn around and run a half mile back. If I felt okay I would keep going. If I wanted to stop I could.
Fun change of events. I felt AMAZING! The run felt easy and effortless and like I could have gone forever. I ended up doing my four mile long run for the week. Perfect way to end a Saturday.
Now to hopefully get some sleep tonight!
