Family Lift and After Bedtime Run.

Decided to sleep in again, because sleep has been a little non existent the last few days. The dogs are crazy when my husband is gone. I love that they are trying to keep us save but the constant high alert walking around makes for rough sleep. 

I went to the chiropractor in the morning. It’s still going really well. Today we did a little more stretching than normal and I loved it. 

Then we did more house work before spending a few hours swimming. 

We came home and got Pizza Hut for dinner. I ate some breadsticks and a half of pizza melt… which is not great fuel before a workout. Oops. 

After dinner I did an upper body accessory day with the kids. It was fun and chaos. But the repeating of “mom look at my muscles” was worth the chaos!

I then waited for bedtime to get in my speed work on the treadmill. And digest some food. 

The plan was part tempo run part progression run.

1 mile warm-up

1 mile @ 9:13 pace

0.5 mile @ 8:34 pace

0.5 mile @ 8:00 pace 

0.5 mile cool-down 

After Bedtime Run.

This workout felt amazing! Everything clicked. The garage where the the treadmill is located is about 1000 degrees so I was extra surprised when I was feeling good. 

The run felt easy. Love that for me. Also love that I did the lift first! Might start doing that more often!
