Easy Run & Walk
On the schedule today was an easy run, and I added in a walk. I was planning to do my run later in the day, then around 2:30 one of the kids needed a nap. We took the nap outside on the walk!
Todays workout was a four mile easy run. A few walking breaks were added in to keep my heart rate under 150. I am starting to think the heart rate on the apple watch might be a little off. I wasn’t breathing hard and the effort felt easy, but my heart rate didn’t indicate that. Could have also been because of the heat and humidity. Either way I took it easy, and took walking breaks to keep my heart rate under 150.
Tomorrow will be intervals and a strength for runners class. I am thinking about getting up early and getting the workout in on the treadmill before the kids wake up.
