Week 9 Recap!
My week 9 recap, running went great this week! I started the week off strong, then hit a little slump, but managed to finish extra strong. While I did great with the running, I didn’t do so great with the strength training. It is like I know it is important, but if I am short on time I would rather run. Next week I need to be way better.
Week 9 Recap:
Killed it on the running. Failed on the lifting!
Monday: 5 Miles with Speed work. I did a 2 mile warm up, then 400 meters at 8:34 pace, 400 meter jog, 800 meters at 8:00 pace and 800 meter jog, then another 800 meters at 8:00 pace and then last minute decided to throw in an extra 400 meters. So after the second 800 I did a 400 meter jogging recovery and then a 400 meter at 7:03 pace. Then Cooled down until I hit the five mile mark. Great nap time workout.

Tuesday: Off
Wednesday: 2 Miles
Thursday: 4 Miles
Friday: 3 Miles
Saturday: AM 6 Miles – PM 2.5 Miles
Sunday: 4 Miles
TOTAL: 26.5
Only negative about this week is on my run on Thursday I stepped off the sidewalk to let a biker go by and rolled my ankle in a little hole. It feels like a lower ankle sprain, the top of my foot is a little sore and around the inside of my shin on my right leg is tight. I am going to take one run and lift at a time and make game time decisions.

Goal: Kill the running, be wayyy better at lifting!
