Toddler Life and I Almost Skipped My Run. 

Toddler Life, it’s wild. They are trying to kill me this week. We started our day around 12:45am. I am still not even sure what caused the wake up. Which pretty much sums up mom life right! We had a little slumber party on the couch until it was decided that 4:45 would be the time to start playing cars. I did not make that decision!

It goes without saying, that my morning run was again cancelled. Do you think they know that I just set giant goals for myself and this week was week one for big training? 🤦‍♀️. 

Mom life comes first so we played and cuddled the morning away! 

We took a drive to get in a much needed nap time that I just couldn’t skip today!

Then we hit the beach for a little bit of ocean fun and picked up pizza on the way home. 

I ate two slices on the drive home and was feeling a little hard on myself. I knew I needed to get a run in, but I had ever excuse and actual reasons why it would be okay to skip it. Factoring in how to get the extra miles in over the weekend even crossed my mind.

BUT I hyped myself up, got on the treadmill and ran a very slow two miles. Exactly what my training plan called for. I’m proud of myself!
