Another rough week. This time I think I know why. Diet. Nutrition. I have struggled with that part of my training for a while. This week has been extra bad. My blood sugar levels were back higher than normal and I had too much sugar and carbs. Getting my blood sugars levels back on track needs to be my number one goal again.

Need to start using discipline and stick to a low sugar/lower carb diet to hopefully lower my blood sugar levels, and my sugar cravings (they are out of control!).

Anxiety also got the best of me this week. I started out really strong, but as the week went on the anxiety compounded. This seems to be an ongoing theme. Getting outside is what helps the most, I need to start forcing myself to get out for walks with the kids even if the weather isn’t perfect and I don’t want too.

Monday, July 26th: Run: 2 Miles & Strength: Upper Body Lift

Tuesday, July 27th: Walk: 2.5 Mile Walk

Wednesday, July 28th: Run: Treadmill Sprints 5min Warm-Up, 10min (1min Sprint/1min Walk), 5min Cool-Down & Strength: Lower Body Lift

Thursday, July 29th: Off

Friday, July 30th: Off

Training Log Update. Walk

Saturday, July 31st: Walk: 1 Mile, Run: 2 Miles, Hike: 1 Mile.

Sunday, August 1st: Other: 15min Peloton Bike Ride.

I am going to spend a few hours tonight re-working my training plan. Currently I am training to enjoy a Run Disney 10k. We are running as a family and plan to run together. I am going to rework the training plan to lower volume most days with one longer run. Adding in another rest day. Hopefully the small changes will allow me to fix my diet without being overly hungry, and to also avoid burnout but the end of the week.
